Another Way for Advocacy - Protest
There is an article in the Washington Post today about the nonprofits that are gearing up to protest the Inauguration. This is not a post of support to the protesters, just a mention that protesting is another way to advocate on a mass scale. Here is the article.

Lobby Expenditures To Exceed $2 Billion
Interesting results for the final amounts on lobbying in 2004. The cost of lobbying the Federal government continues to rise and is expected to surpass $2 Billion in 2004. The average was $176 million in spending per month.
