OMB Watch has obtained a letter from a group of industry associations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers, addressed to President Bush on December 21, 2001, in support of the Davis-Moran bill (H.R. 2435), and the Bennett-Kyl bill (S.B. 1456). OMB Watch and other environmental, civil liberties, and consumer protections groups circulated a sign-on letter opposing the Bennett-Kyl bill.
